TIMETABLE

 

There are two ways to take this trip.

 

1) Self-drive - You come in your own car and drive independently with us in a convoy. All events and meals described are included.

2) Passengers - You get a place in one of our adventure vehicles (VW T5 4X4 / UAZ Buchanka 4X4) and enjoy the trip without having to drive yourself.

 

Day 1: Flight to Targu Mures / Romania

Our meeting point is the airport in Targu Mures. From there, in our off-road buses (Ollek and Bollek) we drive around 100 kilometers through Transylvania, where we reach the Berghof in the Eastern Carpathians in the late afternoon. Together we will build our camp with a wonderful view of the Carpathians. We get to know each other at a traditional dinner and then we end the day at the campfire or in the hot tub.

Day 2: We saddle the horses - in the footsteps of the bears!

After an extensive breakfast, we get to know the horses and learn the basics of riding and the correct handling of the horses. Even beginners learn everything that is necessary for a day in the saddle. When the saddlebags are packed and everything is lashed, we ride towards the sun in the bears' footsteps. When resting in the mountains, we provide a a traditional open fire kettle dish. It will be adventurous, it will be quiet, it will be mystical, it will be unique, it will take us away, hit us in the heart and never leave us, the feeling of happiness and limitless freedom.

Day 3: Bear Safari

After a breakfast together in our rustic log cabin, the day gets adventurous.

We find our adventure deep in the Transylvanian forests. Less than 20 meters away, 2 meters tall and weighing up to 400 kg: the brown bear. Our pulse is racing, but we are in a safe shelter. A unique and overwhelming experience! Until late into the night we sit around the campfire, eating Romanian specialties and listen to the sound of the wilderness.

4th day: Your day

We enjoy the day in our camp in the middle of the Transylvanian wilderness with a fantastic view of the surrounding Carpathians.

Sitting by the fire, carving, lying in a hammock or just enjoying the moment. We heat up the hot tub, tell stories and just live.

In the evening we prepare a delicious kettle dish together.

Day 5: Time travel

Together we discover the Romanian way of life and visit the small town of Gheorgheni and its surrounding villages.

Today we go back years, visit a farming family and experience how  the people here still make the famous Carpathian cheese in the traditional way.
Food can be so original and pure.

Day 6: Off-road

After breakfast, our Russian off-road buses (Ollek and Bollek) take us on a discovery tour. We pass beautiful lonely areas, visit shepherds on huge summer pastures and experience one or two adventures. We get freshly caught trout, which we prepare in the traditional Romanian way around the campfire.

Day 7: The Taste of Romania

Enchanted villages, lonely areas and traditional farmers markets enrich our day. We smell, taste, drink and touch delicacies from days long past.

Day 8: Departure

Unfortunately, even the best days come to an end. After a wonderful breakfast we say goodbye with a laughing and a crying eye.

We look back on a time full of impressions that we will always remember.

Transfer to Targu Mures airport. Arrival time around 12 p.m.

 

In the event of activities being canceled due to weather conditions, we will of course endeavor to provide a replacement program.
If this is not possible, we will not reimburse individual events due to force majeure.
